Article: All the ways I'll benefit from losing
weight
This
is a work-in-progress to motivate me to arrive at a
healthier weight. Feel free to print out if you need it and

I'm going to lose weight because....
1.
There will be less huffing and puffing while walking up
stairs.
2. I won't be bumping into door frames as much because I
will be narrower.
3. It will be easier to hoist myself into the driver's seat
of my tall van.
4. My too tight clothes in my closet will fit once again
and I won't have to pay for new clothes.
5. If I eat less, my grocery expenses will decrease.
6. It will be easier to walk without my thighs knocking.
7. I'll be able to wear shorts and bathing suits without
snickers.
8. I'll look younger than I do now.
9. I'll have fewer chins.
10. I won't look so silly riding a bicycle when viewed from
behind.
11. People won't be able to recognize a thinner me so
perhaps I can be someone else.
12. I'll be able to wear brighter colors instead of my
usual slimming black so it won't look like I'm in perpetual
mourning.
13. I won't cringe in front of mirrors. (I might even buy
some mirrors.)
14. I won't have to wear long pants in summer to cover up
my fat ankles.
15. I'll be able to tie my shoes tighter.
16. My eyes will be more prominent than my fat cheeks.
17. It will be easier to get my sneakers on.
18. Men may look at me again.
19. I'll be able to wear skirts again without people asking
me when I'm due.
20. I'll be able to wear all white without looking like the
Pillsbury dough boy.
21. I'll be able to walk faster without jiggling all over.
22. I'll be able to lean over to tie my shoes without
having to unzip my pants first.
